Torn edges, layered memories, Y2K chaos.
JUNK JOURNAL is not a desk mat with a pattern on it. It’s a whole mood. A collage of nostalgia compressed into 80×33cm — stickers, stamps, washi tape, handwritten fragments, and the beautiful chaos of a scrapbook that never got finished. Maximalist in the best way. The kind of design that rewards a second look, and a third.
The Design
Inspired by the scrapbooking and journaling culture of the early 2000s, JUNK JOURNAL captures the layered, tactile energy of ephemera — the ticket stubs and faded photographs and torn edges that people kept because they couldn’t bring themselves to throw them away. It’s part of the WYUGEN KAWAII SERIES: a collection for setups that have personality, not just aesthetics.
Every element of this design feels placed with intention, even when it looks like beautiful chaos. For the desk that tells a story. For the setup that refuses to be boring.
Built Without Compromise
The surface is smooth micro-woven fabric — the kind that lets your mouse glide exactly where you intend, whether you’re mid-game or mid-creative session. No drag. No resistance.
The non-slip rubber base grips your desk and holds. No shifting mid-session. No readjusting. The stitched edges keep the design sharp at every border and prevent the fraying that starts at the corners of cheaper mats after a few months of use.
3mm thick. Substantial. The kind of quality you feel before you even place your mouse on it.

Common Questions
Will the print fade? Dye-sublimation printing bonds colour directly into the fabric fibres. The design lives inside the material, not on top of it. With proper care, JUNK JOURNAL stays as vivid as the day it arrived.
Does it work with all mice? Yes. The micro-woven surface is optimised for optical and laser mice across all DPI settings.
Is 80×33cm big enough for keyboard and mouse? Yes — it comfortably covers a full-size keyboard and mouse side by side.
Not all fades. Neither does this.
